Context & objectives

Since 1921, SEGAULT has been designing and manufacturing valves for extreme applications in the nuclear, petrochemical and aeronautical test bench sectors. SEGAULT valves are designed to equip the primary and secondary circuits of nuclear power plants. The company generated sales of around €11m in 2022 on a B2B basis alone, and employs around 80 people.

Faced with critical challenges in its manufacturing processes, SEGAULT decided to deploy a new ERP to reinvent the way it works. This change, which had become essential for the company’s survival, was aimed at meeting the growing demand from its customers while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Response & method

Project duration: 15 months

Netsystem provided support in two phases:

  1. Consultation for the choice of solution: This phase began with a call for applications followed by a detailed request for proposals. Netsystem took charge of drafting the necessary documents and facilitated exchanges with the candidates, while ensuring the financial and technical analysis of the proposals received. In the end, the chosen solution was ABAS.
  2. PMO & AMOA implementation support: Netsystem helped set up the methodological tools for monitoring the project, provided assistance with contracting, and played an active role in preparing and holding the COPIL/COPRO committees. In addition, the company organised the acceptance site to ensure that the process ran smoothly.
    Thanks to ABAS, the company is better equipped to keep pace with the market and maintain its competitiveness in a demanding sector.
