PROFILE: SALES ENGINEER

CONTEXT

Within the context of the firm’s development, we are looking for a sales engineer with 3-5 years’ experience in consulting and IT project management support, or in the sale of IT services/consulting.

Netsystem, a consulting firm helping organisations to implement IT transformation, supports its clients in the upstream stages of digital transformation projects and data development and security projects.

We operate throughout the value chain, from the lower levels of the IT system (networks, cloud), to intermediate levels (infrastructure, telecoms), to operations (CRM, ERP, EDM, DEMAT, digital projects) and security (GDPR, CISO, etc.).

MISSION

You will be responsible for managing and developing a client portfolio. You will also establish clients’ needs and propose appropriate commercial solutions.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of existing and potential clients
  • Analyse and understand clients’ needs
  • Sell appropriate solutions to clients
  • Promote the service offerings of Netsystem
  • Report on your commercial activities

  • Data: Open data, Bigdata, BI, GDPR…
  • ERP, CRM and operational solutions
  • ECM and collaborative platforms

You are a good listener and organiser and are able to bring together all project stakeholders. You are able to combine a strong interest in new technologies with a thorough understanding of organisations and technical challenges. You are able to understand the financial, organisational and contractual dimensions of the assignments.

Operational expertise would be an advantage.

Missions

In collaboration with a team or independently, you will participate in a variety of assignments requiring you to:

  • Manage studies and implementation, in collaboration with our clients
  • Conduct analysis/audits
  • Identify the state of the art and benchmarks
  • Develop our clients’ technical and functional strategy/roadmap
  • Develop technical, economic and organisational development scenarios
  • Develop specifications (private and public sector), analyse offers
  • Lead steering committees

 

In your field of expertise, you will carry out technological watch over the offerings of other market operators (publishers, manufacturers, integrators, operators, etc.)

Profile 

Ideally an engineering graduate, you must have at least 5 years’ experience with an IT consulting or digital services firm.

Driven by client satisfaction, your are proactive and independent, able to communicate fluently and precisely both orally and in writing. You are service-oriented, maintain excellent client relationships and wish to participate actively in the development of the firm. You are highly responsive.

Proficiency in English is desirable.

The post is based in Aix-en-Provence (13), occasional business trips within France.
